Play fairly. Treat people with respect.

These rules apply to every online room, tournament, message and public play feature on Backgammon.ru.

Respect

Threats, insults, harassment, discrimination, sexual harassment and repeated unwanted contact are prohibited.

Fair play

Do not use move assistants, bots, multiple accounts, collusion, arranged results or deliberate exploitation of defects.

No spam

Do not flood messages, advertise, send suspicious links, request money or share contact details without consent.

Responsible reports

Reports must concern a real event. Coordinated false reports and attempts to punish an opponent for losing are themselves abuse.

How measures are applied

  1. The organiser reviews the report and linked room.
  2. Measures may include a warning, a 24-hour or 7-day online restriction, or early restoration.
  3. A new measure does not change a completed result. A game already in progress may be finished without messaging.
  4. One appeal is available for each decision and is reviewed by the project owner.
